It's a difficult, mainly strategist roleplay game that's worth every penny you spend on it. I can't wait to see how much they've im proved.īut, back to the point at hand. They out did themselves, and I'm still waiting for Twilight Princess to make itself known. It's a very long game, but it's worth every minute. I have yet to beat it, and I've owned it for over four months. The graphics aren't that great, but the game itself is awesome. I was at the beach and everything, and not once did I go outside, or, for that matter, put the controller down for four days, save to get food, or sleep. For the longest time, I never even touched Wind Waker because I didn't like the graphics, but, out of chance, I rented it out. Okay, this is a half and half situation for this game.īeing an avid fan of Zelda for as long as I can remember, I've adored any game that they've been able to come out with. It easily competes with the original zelda and ocarina of time for best zelda title to date and should be respected as such in the halls of video game history. Which is also why I immediately bought a replacement upon the realization that my old copy had gone missing. It is (in my opinion) the best game one can own for the gamecube which is why I'd be lost without my copy of it. Overall, Wind Waker is an excellent best seller an a definate must buy for any gamecube owner. The camera is very similar to that found in Super Mario Sunshine- you have full control, and it goes where you tell it to go. The overworld is bigger than you can imagine, and each creatively designed dungeon gets progressively better and more challenging than the last.
From the intro to the last battle, every moment of Wind Waker shines of quality. Graphics and sound are important, but they alone don't make a game fun what really sets this game apart from anything else I've ever played is the gameplay. The soundtrack is phenomenal as well, with plenty of new music and a return of some classic tunes (including the one we all know from the original Zelda). The facial expressions and the way the characters can interact with the environment is superb. It's like controlling your own little cartoon world. As a continuation of Nintendo's most polished series, you know without even the slightest bit of doubt that they've done the visuals and audio right the graphics really have to be seen in action to be appreciated.
